Called the vet about 2-3 weeks ago as my dog, Hank was acting lethargic and had mouth pain. They were completely booked that day but were kind enough to squeeze him the following morning. They ended up having to lightly sedate him to see what was going on. Doctor Syring personally gave me a call to update on what she found and informed me a nurse would call me when Hank was ready for pick up. They did just that & Hank even got a bravery award 😭🤍. They were also very transparent about cost.

Today was his follow up & Hank has been itching his ear the past couple of days, Dr. Syring took a quick look, they cleaned it & gave him some meds.

Loved my experience here. You can tell that everyone here genuinely loves doing what they do. My dog has had nothing but terrible experiences from prior vet visits from other veterinarians but this establishment just knows what they're doing.

Omg these people are amazing. Everyone was super kind, gentle,  and loving to my cat. Here is the kicker: when the appointment was over and I was walking to my car, my kitty got loose and ended up going under my car and crawling in the engine block. Within two seconds of realizing what happened, Alyssa came outside and offered her assistance. Within less than a minute, Marianna came out to help as well. I was definitely trying to help but now looking back, I was absolutely useless. These ladies had it under control, and they were determined to help save my kitty. Marianna crawled under my car and put her hands up into the engine block to get ahold of kitty while Alyssa was trying to coach the kitty down towards Marianna's hands. Marianna was pretty much pinned between the floor and my car and she still managed to grab my cat and wiggle herself out from under the car without hurting herself or my kitty. They saved his life. I was so worried about him, dashing into the busy street. They made sure that didn't happen.  I owe them big time. This place cares about your pet like they are their own. My sweet baby started developing urinary blockages right before we left on vacation. Dr. Quinn quickly got him unblocked and they took excellent care of him during his hospitalization. He unfortunately became a much more complicated case and they worked wonderfully with the Pet Emergency Center in Skagit and Penn Cove in Coupeville to help us save him without sinking us into tens of thousands in debt. The entire staff treated myself, my husband, and of course our cat with so much kindness and gentleness. Our family wouldn’t be the same without them.

Our male cat has had an ongoing urinary blockage problem over the last month. We too him to Best Friends the first time it happened and they were very quick to get him unblocked and give him the proper treatment he needed. Unfortunately, he kept getting blockages over the next few weeks which ultimately led to PU surgery. We primarily worked with Dr. Quinn, but the entire staff there, vet techs, receptionist, the other Doctors were all amazing and had so much compassion and kindness for us. When the repeated blockages began to happen, they did everything they could do to keep us from spending thousands of dollars while also doing everything in their power to keep our kitty healthy and alive until we found a surgeon to perform the PU operation. The kindness we received from the staff at Best Friends is a kindness we didn’t think still existed in the world today. We couldn’t be more thankful for everything they’ve done for us.
